Sorting, filtering, grouping, expansion, selection, row/column virtualization and scrolling use Material React Table / TanStack APIs. Material React Table does not provide a native data-store CRUD, pivot, printable, XLSX or expandable-column API; those operations use the application data adapter around the table instance. Span mode uses HTML table cell span props and disables column virtualization because virtualized columns cannot safely cross merged cells.
